1999 Red Dakota Sport-one owner-mint?

This truck is so nice. If you need something with 4 wheels for less than $5,000 check it out!!! It will be a tragedy if it goes to crusher because I turn it in on wifes new car for $4500 voucher.

I bought my Red 1999 Dodge Dakota Sport new in Aug of 1998. I have owned it 11 years. It is a 3.9L V-6, 2wheel drive, 4 speed Automatic with Electric Overdrive. The "Sport" package means fancy wheels and bigger tires, blacked out bumpers-decal badging-side trim, upgraded interior with 60/40split buckets & center armrest/console and all the fancy gages. It has Air, cruise, 4 speaker stereo, power steering & brakes, RWAL ABS, and the towing package. I added a class III hitch and a control for electric brakes on trailers and a bed liner.
Those of you that know me know I take care of my stuff. Example: oil changed every 3500 miles using synthetic oil and new filter every time. Transmission, Brake and Power Steering Fluid is "flushed" (not just changed) every 36,000 miles and so on. The truck has new tires, new brakes (not just pads), new battery, and all new fluids in last year. . It has 114,000 mile on it, it just passed the NC state safety and emisions inspections and runs exceptionally well.
The truck has been used as a car 98% of it's life. I bought it because I had a show car (69 Corvette) that I trailered and because for a while the wife had her own bike and we'd trailer the two bikes sometimes. Show car and wife's bike are gone and don't have a use for truck. We have 3 other cars and a motorcycle and it just sits. I just put it on Craig's List in Jacksonville Florida for $4,865 and that is based on the NADA trade value of $4,600 with adjustment for the hitch, brake control and bed-liner.
If you want a really good 1/2 ton mid-sized truck with a 5,000 lbs towing capacity call me at 252-315-4286 or 904-642-0533.

Thanks, Ross

Hey all, I tried to put pic of truck in sig line but it was huge and shrinking didn't work for some reason. Look at photobucket trosco1948 if you want to see pic of truck. This truck is too good to crush but wife's 2010 Equinox supposed to come in Aug 28, I'll turn the truck in then for the $4500 voucher, paperwork is done. If anyone needs something reliable and decent looking for less than $5000 check this truck out. Your normal $4500 used car or truck won't be this good!

That reminds me...
Do you guys remember when Dodge put out the dakota sport with a convertible top? That was useless but was a still a truly cool and unique vehicle.
