Electrical Problem
twittercat, there is a ice pick in each vehical I own, an about 4 more in my main tool box and another in each wiring tool box i might carry anywhere. These are 4 bucks at walley world.
I have a yellow cased digital meter from walley world to match anyother meter from walley world so i can have the same meter you have. It helps in on line like this to have matching meters sometimes. I have a slew of other meters made by Snap On Mac, and etc.. in both annalog and digital. The ice pich is a good tool for battery voltage or no voltage, and with a little luck and some guessing can see lesser than 12 volts by judging a dim glow.. The pick is faster for track and trace work, where you don't need to know the exact readings. For light work most of the time you don't need to know the reading. The meters works better for voltage drop, and charging system diagnostics where say you need to know the field wire reading which should be 1/2 battery volts.
