Interesting, Ive still got the brochures for most of the new vehicles I purchased. My first new car was a 74 Gremlin X.
He doesn't have the brochure, but I do. :)

What were your first and second cars Gerry? I looked up my first new car, 1970 GTO and it pictured the Judge. Mine wasn't the Judge just a plain screaming GTO.

My first car was a '63 Plymouth Valiant, $600.00 in '67. My second car was a '66 Plymouth Fury, $650.00 in '69.
Worked part time after school to pay for them. And I also bought a '65 Honda Sport 50 in '67.
Guess which vehicle I had the most fun with.

My mother owned a 62 Valiant and I inherited it after her death. Great little car with that big ole inline 6. Hit the starter button one day and it fryed all the wiring. Never got it fixed and sold it to a friend.

My first car was a '53 Studebaker Commander. One of the best cars I ever owned. Body was rusted out but what an engine and transmission.

My Valiant had rubber floor and trunk mats, pull them out, and hose them off. Vinal seats were easy to keep clean. made a lot of Saturday night trips to Crown Point, N.Y. Drinking age was 18 there and 21 here in Vt. My girlfriend and my buddies somehow always got home without a scratch. Jesus sat on my shoulder I'm guessing.

Guess they need to do some updating for their link. I will check out for my '53 Studebaker and see if I can find it.

Thanks, Mine was black with black wheels and chrome baby moons. ;)
That '50 coupe must have been easy to spot, that looks cool. Up here in the north they have always used too much salt, cars don't last long. finding a car like that up here would have been a small miracle, if it hadn't any rust on it.

My 1970 Mustang Mach 1 was there. I had a few more extras than the one showing and mine was bright yellow. $4,700 sticker. In those days a loaded Vette was ~ $9,000.

Didn't see mine.

Rally Super NOVA; 3-speed Hurst transmission; 350; orange with black racing stripes from front to back.

Got it my junior year. Car lasted two months or so before I was t-boned by a drunk. I still have the picture somewhere; or at least pictures of what was left of it.
