Speedo cable

I was riding to our Sunday morning breakfast meeting and lost the speedo and odometers. I checked the cable and found that the end going into the wheel assembly was broken off, just the inside part of the cable end had broken about 3/4".

How hard is this to replace and how long does it usually take to get a cable?

I am going to try to see if a shop in Orlando that is open has one, but I fear that it probably won't stock such a thing.
