I would talk with the dealer and try to find out previous owner/owners. The Nomad is a great bike and there are many on the road with well over 100,000 miles and still going strong. If the price is right I would probably go for it.
I usually see a few listed on eBay and I am sure some are on Craigslist. Keep checking and see what you can find.
