Operation Homefront http://www.operationhomefront.net/ is a worth charity that helps wounded warriors as well as military families.
Bob has run in the Marine Corp Marathon for the past 15 years, raising money for wounded veterens and their families. Bob is a second generation US Marine, as his father served in WWII and his son is currently in Iraq.
I don't like asking or being asked for handouts, and neither does Bob. However I kicked in $50, and hope some of my Kawanow friends would be willing to help in anyway they can.
