Help with Cobra 2000 processor
I had a cobra 2000r put on my 2008 Nomad a month ago with stock pipes and air intake. I bought it used off of one of our members and the settings were 4-5-0. I noticed right off the bat that it was a big improvement in acceleration and no pinging.
Last week I put on a set of V&H baggers that I also bought from a member. Love the pipes but I get quite a bit of back firing on deceleration and downshifting. Keep in mind that I am a terrible mechanic. I MIGHT be able to change the oil, etc...someday. My questions are: Does anyone have suggestions on settings that I can try? Do I change them while it is running? Is it best to take it in to the dealership and have them take all my lunch money? I have been running 93 octane here in Florida per the dealerships recommendation and it is pretty hot here as you can imagine if that makes a difference.
