a great ride today !!

Hello to you all....... or y'all,......... whatever works.

It was such a great day today. I had a lot to be happy about, Plus the weather was perfect winter weather for the coast. Temp was about 7 C { 44.6 F } no wind, sunshine with a little high cloud.
My wife had made plans to go across the border with a friend of hers, to do some shopping in Bellingham WA.....So I rang up a colleague to see if he'd join me for a ride. He just bought a
Harley "something",.... this winter and hasn't had a chance to do much riding. He's been out a couple of times but only for a quick scoot. So of course he was "in". We managed to ride for about 5 hrs.. I got home just before dark and managed to get the bike washed, and covered up. I was feeling bad that I hadn't washed the bike the last time I rode it and never covered it up after winterizing it. I'll put it back on the jack and get it off the ground again but I don't think I'll pull the plugs and spray the inside of the cyl's again though. I'll fill the gas and stabilize it but that's it. I have a feeling I'll be out again before spring. It's been an awesome winter this yr.. Up until today there's always been something I had to do. Anyway I just had to share that with whomever cares.

Glad you got out. We had real nice weather Sunday but too much goin on. Still put in about 15 mi. . Better that nuttin.

I could of and should of went for a ride Monday as temps went to the upper 40s*. Between things to do and all the cinders etc. on the roads it just wasn't worth it :(

Remember, any day that you can ride is a great day. I managed a few miles myself today.

That's pretty good when you northern guys are getting temps in the 40's and it was 12 degerees F here this morning. At least the muddy roads from the rain and snow have frozen up solid.
