I've got a set, very little use. No bass, at 70 tough to hear, I think I'm probably going to take them off this summer. My isolation ear buds work better, keeps out wind noise and sounds great.

I have to offer a different opinion. I love mine. I can comfortably hear them at 80. But with the large lowers and hand deflectors from Chuckster and the crash bar chaps there is very little wind noise on my bike. It may depend on your music source also. A buddy of mine has the same setup but uses his I-phone for streaming music, and his doesn't sound as good as mine running off the mp3 player.

I don't have the DWG speakers, but I got a set from here http://www.gooddeals18.com/product/S...radio_pkg.html for $85. I have Vance & Hines dual baggers and I wear ear plugs with a noise breaker in them and I can hear my ipod fine. I got the one with 100 watt amp, but they have them with a 250 watt amp now as well. A lot of the guys in the group I ride with have them and find them adequate as well. For under $100 I figured It was worth the shot and I'd buy them again.

I installed a set on my buddy's 1500 Classic awhile back. He likes them and says they are good up to about 65 MPH, above that the sound quality deteriorates. One thing I didn't like about them is the cables aren't very long and my buddy had to go buy some RCA-jack extension cables.

I had the DWG system and thought the speakers to be of poor quality and the plastic speaker housings not worth the money .I used it for awhile until the amp gave up.I bought some spotlight housings and made my own system with some better speakers and a better amp off ebay.I use an MP3 player and it sounds fine at any speed.

I've had the less than $100 set up from good deals with 100 watt fm amp and black plastic speakers for over a year and I ride most every day. The fm works well at 85 mph. I added 2 in line amps from Radio Shack (about $20 each) so I could hear my mp3 over 65 mph. I have stock lowers with no other deflectors and with a 3/4 helmet it works great. I'm fixing to up grade to the 250 watt amp to get rid of the in lines. The speakers are said to be water proof, but the don't catch much behind the shield. I'm old so the need for cool metal speakers is not that important and for I figure about $300 less. I listen to OLD country and saddle musice and I'm plumb tickeled with mine.
