What do you guys think of this debacle at Texas Tech? Sounds like this Leach guy needs to be put in a small, dark room. What a mess !!

From what I've read, he deserved to get fired and then some!!! I guess there is always two sides to every story, but the side against him doesn't sound too good!

LOL, you know, I never thought of that. He could be a Bobby Knight clone. I see where a lot more has come out, and of course Leach was fired. After watching most of the Alamo Bowl last night, I have come to the conclusion that the Texas prison system still has some quality athletes in it.:)

I agree he's sorta quirky. But it seems like Craig James's son is a spoiled brat. If the worst thing anyone ever did to me was put me in a room for 3 hours, I would be embarassed to make a big deal out of it. I was just raised different. They say he's lazy and complains about not playing. If he was anyone else on that team, we probably not have heard a word about all this mess. But someone else will be getting a good coach pretty soon.

It seems Texas Tech has a tendency to hire bad coaches whether it be basketball or football. When Bobby Knight was fired at Indiana and should never have coached again good ole Tech came throught for him. All the Bobby Knight's need to be weeded out and fired. No way to bring our children up. Those players look up to their coach and coaches of that caliber aren't who they need to look up to. It has all come down to winning and money and that is sad.
