Couple weeks ago I was searching all over the place looking for a 5/16 x 2" coupler and a 5/16" full threaded hex bolt in, at least, Grade 5. Tried every local hardware supplier plus Lowe's & Home Depot. Nobody had either, but Ace did have Grade 8 hex bolt in 5/16 but not full thread.

Then I started searching the net and ran across an outfit called Bolt Depot out of MA.

Found they had a great selection of assorted nuts and bolts in both SAE and Metric in standard zinc coated Grade 2 plus grades 5 & 8, plus stainless, brass, and pretty good selection in chrome.

Plus they have no quanity requirements so you can order any amount.....and the price is right. Much cheaper than local stores!!

Started out looking for few bucks worth of stuff and ended up buying quite a bit from them. Shipped same day and rate was fair.

You might want to check them out....

Good to know. Sometimes it's tough to find those around here, and when you do, the price is often outrageous.
