Spring reminder OIL Thread

I am sure all of you were good little boys and girls and changed your oil before you tucked your babies away for the winter.

I was not and I have been very conscious about not turning my engine over until I change my oil. I know there hasn't been an oil thread for some time and we have many new members that are probably wondering so I thought I would fire one up again.

Gaget's site has a number of good articles on motor oil.

Myself, I am looking for a good Full Synthetic without too many extra additives. I used to use Castrol Syntec in my vmax but that engine is a whole different monster from the Nomad so I have not decided. I have a week to make up my mind.

Me, I will stick with amsoil 10-40. Have had good luck with amsoil in all my vehicles.
