harbor frieght jack

First I say thanks to Steve (ringading) for his help with a problem of mine. Now, I bought a jack from harbor frieght like some of you have.I put a front tire on yesterday with it. My question is since I don't have an adapter yet do I have to run both front and rear tires up on a 2x6 or it looks to me I may have to go 4 inches up in order to put blocks of 2by's on the corners of the jack. My problem is I will be doing the work by myself and do not have another person to give me a hand. I would like where and who you get the adapters from when I am able to get one. Thanks
