Hand guards not gonna help
By the time it got done snowing the drift under the kitchen window was over 7 feet high, and the Nissan was just a memory in the carport. Not a lot of snow on the flat but anywhere there was an obstacle to stop the driving snow, the drifts are amazing. Started to dig out yesterday; it snowed most of the day but the wind finally backed off a bit so it wasn't drifting too much. The snow pile on the south side of the driveway is over 6 feet high and the one in the front of the house is 12 feet high.
![]() ![]() The pic on the left is the back door; there is a 4 foot step under there somewhere. The second one was taken by me standing flat against the house and looking up at the top of the drift under the kitchen window. ![]() This is from the back of the house to the front; there is a skid steer on the other side of the drift moving snow. Got up this morning to -33C, which is -27F. Gotta get the cars started and go to work. I probably won't work today since I work with PVC, in a very old building that has one working heater and it will be about 2 above in the place today. Can't work with plastic if it's too cold.
