Air intake question?...kinda

For those of you that modified your air intake, what did you do for the left side to fill the "void" left behind? ???

Air intake question?...kinda

I left my crossover intake tube intact so I kept the stock air cleaner on the left side. I need to get off my butt and design a nice cover plate to seal the left side of the tube.

Yes, I saw that page from Gadget. I was just curious as to what others have done (did?)

I wanted something on the left, and I also wanted to get rid of the OEM anemic horn. I decided to put a Harley horn in the empty "V". The horn is considerably louder than the stock horn was, and I like the looks of it.

I used K&N breathers on both sides because it just looked better. Now, it doesn't make since and it doesn't need both. I had the opportunity to ship the other back but it was shiny and I liked the way it made the bike look.

The only reason that horn is louder is because there is more pissaz in metric volts..

Nah, it's because it's closer to his ears
