I'm running 41 psi in my 2007 factory equipped tires. What's kind of life expectancy should I average? 15,000?

You will be lucky to get much over 10K on the stones.
I have just passed 10K and need new tires now. Some only get 8-9K.
Good Luck!!!

Got 14,000 rear and 18,000 front on stock 06 stone tires. Probably could have left them on longer but unlike a cage I want plenty of deep grooves to spit the rain out.

Changed the Bridgestone rear at little over 5,000....not entirely because of wear, but cupping.

Front has just under 8,000 and will have to be replaced soon.

May I just quickly hijack and ask what tire pressure the MOM calls for on the Bridgestones (my MOM is on order!!) and/or what pressure you guys maintain? Thanks - Moe

Front: 32 psi
Rear: 40 psi

Most everybody runs 39-41 in the front and 40-42 in the rear.

I replaced the stock 'Stone at 7966 and it was flat and bald in the center.
I'm just shy of 12,000 on the front and it looks like it has a little life left. It's not down to the wear bars yet.

What will be the next tire of choice? ME880's ? Seem to be the most popular tires around.

I checked into Kenda tires, they are only half the price and since the lifespan is so minimal on bikes, I have a hard time spending my firstborn for a new set of slippers ::)

Bigdave, when you changed to the Metz, what size did you go and did it effect your speedo? As I understand it the larger Metz 880 does a bit of compensating.
