Interchangable Carburetor Question ??

Are the 2000 and 2004 carbs interchangable? I have a 2000 model and found a used one off a 2004. Wondered if it would work and if it would require any modding to make it work? Thanks

If they look the same, and bolt up to the bike, it should work. However you should take them apart and check the mainjet, pilotjet and needle to see if they are the same or not. These are the brass peices and have numbers stamped on them for identification of sizes.
