Technical Question need computer help.

OK, I bought a notebook. Computer type, not loose leaf like in school ::)
I wanted to transfer my MapSource maps for the trip to The National to it. I wanted to do each state separately. That would be 9 entries. I got 5 of them in and now no more will go.
It is a HP pavilion G series. This thing is 4GB and 320 something ::) It has to have enough storage space for the maps I want to load. Any ideas ???

This is the one I have. Pewter, not pink.
