motorcycle friendly place in St Louis?

It looks like my youngest son will be going to grad school at Washington Univ in St. Louis. Looks like it is near Forest Park.

This would make a really nice three day trip to visit him, one day there, one day back, and one day to visit.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a motorcycle friendly motel/hotel in West St. Louis or points nearby?

Thanks.

I know Best Western is motorcycle friendly, HD recommends them and HOG members receive a discount.

Although it isn't quite as glamorous as Best Western, Motel 6 offers a nice 10% discount to AMA members. They'll even leave the light on for you. Choice Hotels (Sleep Inn, Comfort Inn, Quality Inn, etc) offers a 15% discount to AMA members. Of course, if you're not an AMA member you pay the published rates.

Thanks cactus. When I was racing dirt bikes 30 years ago I belonged to the AMA. No one ever mentioned them when I got back into riding last year. Ill have to check them out.

If you join the AMA and sign up for the automatic annual renewal, they will give you free roadside assistance, not only for your motorcycle, but any vehicle you happen to be riding in/on. Just icing on the cake, as far as I'm concerned.

I live in St. louis but I am not to sure what you might consider a motorcycle friendly hotel but I try to give you some help. Right around the school is a mix of neighbor hoods, some are nice others aren't. If it were me I feel better about parking my bike overnight staying further west in Chesterfield, Creve Coeur or Westport. These are within a 20 minute drive and offer many choices of hotels and parking arrangements. I hope this helps.
