Need plate holder ideas

My license plate was cut and mangled to fit in the stock plate holder and held on with zip ties. So today I went to register the bike and got a new plate but it doen't come close to fitting in the holder or matching up with the holes. I saw this "angle adaptor" on the Kawasaki site, click and was wondering if this is a direct bolt on and a good solution? I don't know if just MN's plates are odd sized but am looking for ideas.

I used the Kury kit as shown in this link. I had to modify the mounting holes to match the fender holes and used the thin gasket picture to protect the paint. I like it but I have the normal size license plate. I hope this helps.

Utah and Colorado plates fit fine. I need an angle adapter that angles the opposite way, away from traffic cameras, not up at them :)

You can buy custom frames to fit those plate sizes from the "odd" states. Perhaps not in every available style, but they are available.

No. I ordered a Showchrome plate holder and it was the "big size" , which I think was something like 5"x8", I needed the small one, which is 4"x7" approx. I ended up buying a Cobra bracket with "Vulcan" engraved in it. There's at least 2 sizes of M/C plates.

When I put the plate on my '05 last spring it didn't fit right either (Minnesota plate also). I just put a drill bit (close to the same size as the hole in the license plate) in the drill and widened the holes inward just a little bit by putting sideward pressure on the drill. The metal is real soft, it only took a minute and the head of the license plate screws covered the holes completely. Just another option to consider.

Jeff, is that you from HSN ? Good to see ya here. Welcome. My "handle" on HSN is jakethesnake. Saw you finally got your Nad. I know you're gonna like it a lot. Now there's three of us here. Me, you ,and Chris. Again, welcome. The folks here are just as nice as HSN. By all means, take a long look at Gadget's page. It's a ton of Nad info.
Holler if ya need anything.

Now, Dan. You are supposed to be a good example for us, not a law breakin, red light runner like the rest of us. ;)
