Custom bags

I just finished making a custom top bag for Charlie for his new Nomad. This bag is made out of patent leather covering bridle leather and he made all of the custom closures. The spots are brass with black acrylic stones - he's a cowboy so brass is his colour. The patent leather is really shiny and looks really nice with the black Nomad.

I also made him mud flaps out of patent and they look very cool. The back mud flap is dusty so it doesn't look as shiny as it actually is.

This is a bag I made for Charlie's wife Judy. She's really in to pink and butterflies. I covered the bridle leather with pink garment leather and Charlie again made all of the butterfly closures.

Hi leadbelly - Charlie is a silversmith and does some incredible work with silver, gold, brass, and copper. He makes buckle sets, jewelry, conchos, and assorted other items out of metal. He make all of his own patterns, manufactures the jigs, cuts, forms and solders, draws the patterns, and hand engraves on each piece. He has made me some incredible buckle sets and jewelry, and we made all of the copper pieces on my Ruby. Go to the Vendor section, CycleCat Leather Prices, into Photobucket, and look at the pieces on my Ruby. He is currently in the process of doing some copper pieces for the front of my lowers. Chainsaw, a member of this forum, recently had Charlie make him some reservoir covers and bought the engraved chrome pieces off of the lowers for his Nomad.

Maybe Al would post a couple of pics of his items for us to see.

I can sure sing Charlies praises. He did a fantastic job on my reservoir covers. He even called me and we had a nice long chat. Very nice person. His work is first class. Told him what I wanted, and it came out exactly how I wanted it. Will try and post some pictures if I can figure out how to do it.

Hi Al. Put your pics into photobucket, edit by cropping and resizing, copy the IMG addy, and paste onto your post.
