Nomad Mustang seat

Does anyone know if the 1500 nomad mustang seat will fit on a 2005 1600 nomad?

I went to the Mustang website and compared part numbers and they are not the same.

They are definitely different.

The backrest on the 1500 inserts into the pillion seat and it inserts into the rider seat on the 1600.

I'm not too sure if they are interchangeable.

Thanks guys.....I jumped too quick on a seat on e-bay for a very good price...and then read the small print (for 1500 nomad)....at least the guy is willing to refund me minus his fees.

The 1500 has 2 bolts, one on each side - where the 1600 has one in the middle back.

They are different.
