I havn't looked into whats available for them, but you could probably add a longer spacer in the forks which should stiffen them up a bit, but youll probably lose a bit of travel.

04 Fork springs
Rich,
I just got off the phone with Dennis Kirk and ordered springs for my 01 and yes mine are cartridge style. Will let you know how it goes next weekend when I do the job. From what I have read so far it doesn't seem to be all that bad, will change the oil at the same time. Here is the link on how to do them and also the progressive part # 11-1145 Dennis Kirk # is58-977 http://www.gadgetjq.com/nomad_fi_pro...ng_install.htm Mine are to the point that is alot of up down travell and it doesn't ride very good anymore in the front. So I guess the springs are probally tired.

Joe, are you going to try 20 wt oil in the forks, I used 15 wt in mine and it was still to soft. Hopefully the springs will make a difference.

I ordered 15w as that what is stated in the directions with installing the new springs. FYI I talked to a freind nearby last night and he installed a 1" spacer on top of his springs (stock one's) and that did improve the ride. I guess the springs must be tired and allowing the floating travell so much.

I may try to install some spacers in the spring if I don't replace the springs like you are doing.

I will post when I get all this done. I think I will stay with the 15w oil for now and see what happens. Stock has 10w and I don't want to have it so stiff, that could cause it to ride ruff too.
