Run Turn Brake Lights

I am looking into changing my rear turn signal lights to run, turn, and brake. When I install the module do I need to change my turn signal lights to duel intensity red or change them to single intensity red?

My kit is made by Signal Dynamics and it came with the red replacement lenses for the rear signal lamps. Very easy to install, just plug and play!

I am using the kit from Electrical Connection ( http://www.electricalconnection.com/...g/tsk-main.htm ). It's a pair of LED's which mount inside the turn signal housing and are connected to both the Brake and Tail Light circuits. You keep the amber lense. The LED's are RED and when you hit the brakes they are brighter, but when you use the turn signals, the stock bulb lights and the turn signals are amber. It took only an hour or so to install, they give you all you need to make the connections and it was an economical solution.

I'm now considering adding a pair of LED Running/Brake light to the Bags. There's another thread on here Topic: So who has good saddlebag lights? ( http://www.vulcanbagger.com/phpBB3/v...ic.php?t=11425 ) which lists several suppliers. I'm looking at the 1938-39 Ford Teardrop with "rapid fire" system from Shiney Hiney ( http://www.shiny-hiney.com/rodcustom4050.html ) . I like the idea of the Brake lights pulsing three times before staying on. The only thing to me that would be better, would be the system I've seen on the Police bikes in NYC, that alternate between sides 3 times and then hold. Probably a whole lot more expensive than these.

I've got a module from Kriss installed. No need to change bulbs and gives you 17 options for brakes/turn signals. Versatile but not cheap...$200 plus shipping. Took about 1 1/2 hours to install.

I'm using the Kuryakyn run/turn/brake kit. Comes with replacement red lenses with the deep bezels.

Thanks for the responses.
I wanted to find out those that have run/turn/brake lights did you have to change the blinker lights to duel intensity or some how does the module cuse the blinker lights to run at a dimmer light than full power when they act as brake lights and turn signals.

I have 2 bag lights and my stop light and 2 turn signals. I am looking to change my bag lights to Run/Brake/Turn lights, have my current blinkers change to run/brake lights and leave my brake light a brake light. I am looking at buying the Kisan Signal minder https://www.kisantech.com/index.php?cat_id=4 so I can have 4 way flashers, keep auto cancel turn signals and have run/brake/turn lights. I wanted to know if I need to change the lights in my turn signals to duel intensity so when they will glow as run lights than get brighter when I hit my brakes. I might have to hardwire some new LED's to do this. Or I could keep them and wire them into my brake lights to only come on when I hit my brakes.

I have the Kury run turn brake kit. You do not have to change bulbs, just the lenses. The module does everything for you. I don't know how it works,but it does. This has to be the simplest mod I have ever done!

Does that kit have any effect upon the self-cancelling feature of the rear turn signals?
