Shock replacement?
Many of you have mentioned the Progressive shocks for replacement over the OEM shocks. I saw them in a JP Cycles catalog. I noticed the come in 11, 12, and 12.5 inch lengths. What are the stock shocks? Which length would I need to get for a 08 Nomad? Will any of them work and what is the advantage of the different lengths?

Shock replacement?
Shorter shock will lower the rear of the bike. It also eats up some of the suspension travel.

Shock replacement?
The 13" for the Honda Valkrie / Interstate seem to be a good choice if you don't mind the bike sitting slightly taller. I run the 160 / 80-16 tire for the GL1500's on the back and I'm only 5 ft 6 and I sit with my knees bent! Also, with that tire size the speedo is only slightly out.
