V-MAX

Nearly traded the Nomad in today for a brand new V-Max just sitting there waiting for me in black of course. I sat on her and wow, very comfortable seat. And when you look at that huge tach with shift light you know she is all business. You cant find these bikes unless you pre-order them and only 2,500 were aloted for the USA this yr. A guy put down a deposit then backed out on this bike. Poof,,,, then I woke up and came to my senses and got off the V-max and went home.

I know the feeling. I enjoy looking at other motorcycles and checking them out, but when I get back on my 2000 Nomad I chuckle to myself and say; "what the heck was I thinking".

I wouldn't trade my Nomad for a V-Max, but the V-max sure is nice. Would love to have it as a second Bike!

I've only seen the V-Max in pictures, but it is a sharp looking bike!

You know what they say about the v-max--- It writes checks in the straights but can't cash them in the turns!!!

Nothing wrong with having more than one bike.

Variety is the spice of life.

The V-max has always been one of my favs. I haven't warmed up to the new V-max much but then with 200hp it'll probably light my wick in a hurry.

Rainchief, I really like that center tour pack (trunk) pictured on your bike, can you provide info about it?

Doc, I rode the new Vmax and loved it. Didn't like the huge price tag though.

I should have gone up and checked to see if they'd let me ride it again :)

Only $18,000 Dan. Ain't bad for such a powerhouse and hard to find bike. Sure made my heart race just sitting on her. :-)

Wonder what it'd be like on a cross-country ride?
