Baby got new shoes

Had the cobra's put on the '07 Nomad yesterday. From the first turn I noticed an unbelievable difference in handling. Went to the 180/70's in the rear. Had Metlers and elites on different bikes but at this point I'm going to have to say these could be the best tires I've had for any of my motorcycles. The bike felt like you could throw it into turns like my old st1100.

I read a number of months ago about the difference between the stock stones and new tires (metzlers) made him realize that his riding skills weren't as bad as he had thought. He was talking about having trouble keeping his intended lines etc. and when he got the new tires it was like a new bike and was amazed at the difference. I'm there with him now. Again, totally amazed. Don't know about wet weather yet.

Thanks Mac. The right side swingarm bearing was dry. U-joint OK driveshaft splines lubed. Didn't have them do the needle bearings in the shocks yet.
