Dyna Bead Install
:)I want to order dyna beads for front and rear tires. Is it difficult to put inside tire if you don't break down the tires and just leave them on the bike? Any tips on how to do this? How many ounces per tire?Do I take off the weghts that are already installed on the wheels? All suggestions appreciated. Rooster1

White Horse Press has these for less. (3) 1 ounce bags and the bottle filler kit is 8 bucks.
1 ounce bags are 2 bucks each. Depending, it is said 2 or 3 ounces for a rear and 2 for a ft on Vulcans. I lost some during the install, using just bags and no kit. I made a paper funnel and it failed. I then made a plastic tube, to another, with a coleman funnel. That fixed it. Either the tire is very good, or the beads work. This tire isn't a MC tire and so is a bit bigger, and runs very smooth at all speeds.. Yes remove the current weights, you shouldn't ever need them again.

Dang. You almost got me convinced that I should do this.
The one thing holding me back at this point: When I go to change the tires I'm gonna get these little things all over the garage floor. You've seen me change tires. It's not a neat process. Login or Register to Remove Ads |

Well you know how cheap I am, and I plan to vac the buggers up in a clean shop vac bag and re-use em... forever. Now I am aware i won't live 'forever' but I plan to take all my crap when I go, which ever place I go.. The beads will be there then too.. May the Devil bust his teeth on em too, if i end up there...

Careful talkin' like that!
The Devil might wind up ridin' yer nomad around, while you get stuck sweepin' up those little beads all over Hell and back. |

I have them in my '08 Nomad. I've got 5,000 mile with them inside my Dunlop E3s. So far no issues.
Wheels are in balance all the way to top end. So far I have encountered no unusual side affects. Weights? Yes remove the old weights. Amount? 2 oz per wheel. As of now I highly recommend them. |
