Cobra Seat FOR SALE for 1500 Classic
I have a good looking Cobra Freedom Seat (PN 03-0442) for sale. The tag says Cobra Freedom for Vulcan 1500. I will try to get pics soon.

Nightmare what kind of mount is that you have for your trunk and is it chrome I am makeing one for my trunk and I thank it looks something like yours.

No, the 1500 Classic seats mount differently. They bolt from each side, not at the center of the rear fender.

If that had been for a 1600 Classic, '03 and up, I'd be interested, as they will fit '05 and up Nomad, and I like the way the Classic seat is cut. I'd like to find a good used stock seat reasonably priced, but everyone wants near dealer cost for them. :-/

I have a 2003 classic and a 1999 Noad. The seats swap both ways and the only difference is that the Nomad ahas a pressed tin "rack" for the passenger seat and the classic has two tin straps that the passanger seat clips on and then bolts (one bolt) so they can be switched. The classic is a 1500 and the 99 Nad is also a 1500.

I guess it would fit my Nad so how much do you want for the seat?
