battery tender issue

have not riden in a week, came in from work today a little early beautiful day so I was going to ride

I noticed the battery tender had the trouble light on,
didnt think much about it so I unhooked it and tried to start the bike.

The battery is completely dead.

Suggestions anyone?

What brand are you using?

Couple of questions. How long have you had the tender, and did you get the polarity right when you attached it to the battery? Oh, one other thing, check to make sure the bike battery cables are screwed tight to the battery.

Not all battery tenders are designed to be plugged in indefinitly. Some will cook your battery. Make sure its a "smart charger" and that it shuts off and kicks back on as needed.

if its name is battery tender reg or jr. its a smart chg.
