Dobeck Gen III EFI Controller

I received my Dobeck Gen III controller yesterday. Will install it tomorrow night.

What's interesting to me is it has 6 adjustments on it instead of 4 like the Gen II.

Will be interesting to see how this performs. I emailed support @ Dobeck and told them how my Nomad is set up and they emailed me the starting settings. The unit comes programed for Stage 1 intake and exhaust.

Gen 3 works great.
After you install it and then turn the key on the left green light will blink and the right red will blink. Instructions says this is a connection issue. This is Normal. Start the bike and the lights scroll thru and then just the left green light is on this is normal.

The gen 3 comes programmed for a stage 1 which is what you have vulcanmad.

This thing has really brought my bike to life. A lot better than the Cobra EFI I replaced with the Dobeck.

I am going to fine tune the adjustments for my set up and tomorrow I leave for DC on the run to the wall.

It's great to hear your happy with it recumbentbob.
Did you run into any probs fitting it? Did you have to remove the tank completly.
Good news about it being preset for my mods thanks for that info.

Did not have to remove the tank I unbolted it and propped it up with a piece of 2x4 wood.

Just follow the directions and remember when you turn the bike on the red light will flash but when you start it; it does not flash so it is connected right. the instructions are a little confusing about this and I called Dobeck and they confirmed it is OK.
