Tunes for the Nomad

Has anyone seen a set-up similar to this I saw on a HD Convertible for tunes:

I saw this and was like, that is exactly what I need if I am not going the fairing route. Wonder if that one would work.

I know they make speakers that mount to the handle bars, but I am not crazy about the looks. Really like how these tuck in really hidden and low in the dead space.

Let me guess, you ride without a helmet, right? Put a lid on and install a headset with microphone from J&M. Then plug it into a J&M CB/weather radio. Then you can plug in either an XM/Serius radio or a mp3 player. That way you have great sound and unlimited listening choices and people around you don't have to listen to your choice of music.

I always use a helmet. I have thought about those systems but do like not having wires hanging. I also use multiple helmets so hopefully it is not a pain to move it back and forth.

It can be a pain but only around season changes when I switch back and forth between helmets because of the weather variations. Just have to get the right adaptor for the connector coming from your helmet. My full-face has one that is different than my 3/4. I don't listen to music with my 1/2 lid.

Yes, J&M CB2003. I got the CB hoping that truckers would have a better idea of the commuting traffic situation than the local radio coverage. Alas, most of the time, I hear them asking opposite-bound drivers what the problem is in our direction without enough notice to jump off at the next exit.
I used my Blackberry and now my HTC incredible phone through the J&M for music or internet radio.
