I don't live in Nashville but I used to..... The standard tourist stuff is always a good bet. ie Ryman Auditorium, Printer's Alley, Music Row and of course the Grand Ole Opry on Fri and Sat night

I'm in West Tn north of Memphis. Skirt around Nashville going to East TN....my son was in college in Nashville and says you really have to drive defensively there.

Was hoping some of the other TN folks on the board might have been to Nashville and have some good info for ya...guess we Tennesseans aren't Nashville Cats.

I'm a native Nashvilian well, almost, I live about 20 miles north.
However I doubt if I can tell you much about it.
There are a lot of places to see, depending on how much time and what your interests are. Of course if you are into country music, then you have found your meca.
Most everyone want to go to the Opry and I guess it is almost required. ( I have been twice in my life).
I prefer Bluegrass and Western Swing.
Also many tours available, check with the tourist dept. Visit 16th ave. to see many of the famous music sites, Robert's western world on lower broad especially on Monday nights is a good place to listen to country and western music. Great burgers.
Carrabas's grill for excellent Italian food, Mortons for fine steaks ( expensive) the list goes on, and on.
Pm me and let me know what your preferrences are.

A good MC ride is the Natchez Trace south of Nashville at Franklin, TN.
