Well as much as I hate crowds myself and 4 friends made the trip to daytona, left on Thursday a little over 580 miles one way, the weather was just about anything mother nature wanted to throw are way we had rain-high winds-sunshine, I met a few of the many nomad riders I saw, and I spread the word of the kawanow site to all. I road a little further south to vero beach so total trip ended up at 1660 miles. I have pic's and will try and post them this week sometime.

david, I parked my bike till Sunday because of the wicked rain and wind. One of the groups I ride with even cancelled their trip to Daytona on Saturday because of sustained winds. Over on our coast it was about 30 mph sustained.
