I'm wondering how many Dark Siders we have on this board?

BTW... Those that have gone to the dark side, why don't you mention what tire you have mounted.

I only have 2,900 miles on my bike, but when it comes time I probably will. It doesn't really cost any extra and you can get 2-3 times the mileage or more on a car tire. It sounds like a good idea to me. Ride Safe!!!

+1.. I have a brand new tires, but when the time comes, I will probably go darkside. It just makes more sense.

There was a thread on the VTX board asking the simple question "Does anyone know first hand (not a friend, or a friend of a friend) of a car tire causing an accident."
Not a single story was told, and that board has 41,000 members.

I don't know of anyone to go to the darkside on a 1500 Nomad yet.

The Darkside web site doesn't show one either. :'(

Another Dunlop SP 5000. 195/60-16 here. Only have about 200 miles on it, but no real complaints.

I'm running an Achilles ATR Sport 195/55 ZR16 87V. Got from http://www.tireseasy.com/ for $54 + shipping. I've had this on for over 11,000 miles and am very pleased with it.
