First ride of the season, and it was

FREAKIN' FANTASTIC!!!!! The temp got up to 15C and there was no wind. No wind in Southern Alberta is a rarity so it was absolutely fantastic to ride straight up instead of on a 30 degree lean like we usually do. Not so nice this morning, got up to 6C below and 2 inches of snow. WAH!

Nothing beats the first ride of spring! I'm still waiting for mine, but hopefully I'll get it in a week or two.

Glad you got out when you did and got to enjoy it.

I'm still waiting for it to melt here but it looks like I'll be waiting for another month. We have a Winter storm warning today with accumulations expected around 10 to 20cm.
*sigh* :(

Worst...winter...ever.

I just took these pre-storm pics 10 min ago.

I woke up to snow---more snow....again....

Fellow Albertans, what have we done to deserve this....It's just past noon, Sunday 22 March---we should be out cruising. It's zero 'C' and 2 inches of fresh snow and still snowing----I'm speachless.

I got out Friday and Saturday, about 400 km total, was great! In Medicine Hat we have rain this morning and around +1C. Where in southern AB are you?

Hey strobe, we're 20 miles southwest of Lethbridge on the Waterton highway in a small town called Magrath.

By the time it got done snowing yesterday, it's looks like winter again. That means more long johns, more winter coat, more gloves, more anything winter, and more PMS. :'(

Oh and terrebonne PFFFFFFT
