Scootworks rack recieved!

got my Scootworks rack used off Tokoyoblillie.. THANs 110% perfect,, Very Well packed ,,Looks good...Paint pefrect!!! GREAT price...
I was surprised it was made of such thin metal..I thought it would be heavey steel.... but alot are used so guess that wont be a issue...
Any tricks to mount it? All stock bolts work? and hints?? Thanks.....Rich

No tricks to mounting it. Take off the top rear shock nut and the 2 fender strut bolts on each side. You'll need to remove the saddlebags for easier access to the bolts. I'd use washers between the bolt heads and the rack.

MAKE SURE YOU PLACE A THICK TOWEL ON TOP OF YOUR REAR FENDER, just in case it gets away from you.

CJ, Thanks,, now to wait till it warms up... 17 deg today.. and a Ice storm may be coming :(.. then it get warm next week,, 30s and maybe 40s.. :) so I play with the bike then,,, Thanks,,,,,,Rich

I put some nylon washers between the rack, and the chrome fender fillers .

Greg, The Luggage rack is Fire & Steel.. The Backrest is so i assume the rack is as well......Rich

radco,i would say that it's not safe to assume that as the cobra will bolt directly to the factorf backrest also.
