Anyone interested in how-to-build ABS Lowers?

I'm a new member that has found spending my evenings cruising through this web site while it is still 16deg F here in Michigan. Since posting on the new member site I have had some nice comments about the custom ABS lowers I made for my 99 Nomad. These were vacuum formed ABS from my mold design. If there is interest and you have someone nearby with a vacuum form machine, I will post a helpful how to design and make your own ABS lowers.

ABS is completely paintable. I used Color-Rite urethane color match paint rattle cans and did an excellent job on small parts.

For those that like what I did but don't have the energy for the project, I can see what my vac man would sell them for. Either way drop me a note. If one person interested I will email you a how to, if many I will post how to.

PS: To you southern riders, I hope you are enjoying your rides! Want some snow?... :(" title="" border="0"/>

I think someone could make some money here. I would love to get a set if the price was right.

I think think the vacuum is when you tell your wife you bought something again for your bike and her mouth opens and takes a big inhale, I know I feel the pressure change, or maybe that was the impact after she saw how much money it cost? Umm.

When I do that, there always seems to be a larger rock on my wife's hand. Bling for Bling.

I know.... Off Topic!

I might be interested in hearing what your guy would charge. I don't believe we have a shop around here that can do that.

Let me know what you find out.

Thanks.

I'd also be interested if the price was right. Would do the painting myself. No vac here either.

Note guys - 1500 engine bars are different than 1600's. The lowers do look great though. Very impressive, and welcome to the forum XNC.....

I might be interested as well. Do you have a "rider's eye view" photo of the back side of the lower?
