Thought I'd go though dhomoneys motorcycle survey and crunch some numbers. Really slow on this board sometimes.

I didn't do all his questions due to time constraints and this covers the first 64 replies up to page 5 on the survey thread. These are the numbers I came up with.

Oh, I also noticed only one purple. I guess that settles the argument about which color is fastest. Knowing that not everyone could handle it, Makaw, in their infinate wisdom only made a few. . Besides, you know you gotta be fast when your Nad(s) are purple.

I guess Kawi better keep making black bikes if that is what the majority are overwhelmingly buying.

Was also surprised that so many spouses ride their own bike. Wish mine was one of them.

I don't see a color of metallic bronze. I have a 2004 and though it looks black in the shade, the sunshine illuminates it and you can see the metallic bronze flecks. It is different for sure.

Did Kawasaki actually make purple bikes? I have never heard of a stock purple bike. The reason I ask is mine is at the painters now being done in black and purple. I wanted something different. If Kawasaki did the purple thing then i guess I should have gone with orange ???

Yeah, TC, it's a Kawa color. I wasn't so sure myself, so I checked it out after getting the bike. Can't remember where now, but on some obscure website I found the breakdown for colors of that year and there it was. I would love to have the blue "real flames" added stratigicly around the bike. Think that would just pop! Then it would be scary fast!

I had an '03 Meanstreak that was purple from the factory.

hmsregalnadness ; I checked the spec page on the Nomads. The only reference to purple is a 2000 1500. It says it came in a "purplish black mica" Is your bike the 2000 1500?
