Cool Nomads

I was browsing the internet and found THI S site

One of my neighbors does paint and body professionally and said he'd paint my entire bike for 700 bucks. He suggested a metalic/pearl burgundy for the nomad. I really like the deep reds but not the purplish tints so much. I like the red color thats on the Vulcan tank emblem.

Well he told me to talk to my wife about it, when I did her exact words were "awesome" so as soon as I get some time to take all the parts off I'll probably go for it. The black shows too many flaws. The guy has a 71 dodge charger he painted that has a mirror like finsh so I know he does good work. I just need to find the right color

I like the purple colors. I'm getting mine done this winter. Purple where it is silver and black where it is black. With the air brushing and all it is going to be $1700.
Wolfman, are you getting any custom airbrushing on yours for $700?

Wow, looking at that web sight and saw Catherine's (Cycle Cat) bike there. Strange enough we went out to dinner with her and her's this past summer in Oregon. Her bike looks better in real life, and her husband's bike is beautiful too. They from Canada...

I'd like to have one of those big air intakes they had custom-made. Very nice.

There are some great-looking bikes in those pictures.

I like white bikes best -- especially a "pearl" white. White shows far less dirt and "scuff-swirls".

My nomad would have been white if they made one. Black is my second favorite.

You probably can imagine, I like vanilla ice-cream best also; with chocolate in second place. Kind-of boring, I know.

Just my opinion.
