Whats with you yankees?

I drove up to here Marietta(between york and lancaster) PA to hang out with a buddy this weekend. I do my usual waves at other bikes while driving. You know I only got 4 waves back out of litterally , no exaggeration, about 30 other bikes. Sorry for short message but am typing on a phone.

How baout some hospitality?

Here in CA it must be a friendlier place....we get about 90% of our fellow motorcyclists waving back...even Harley guys/gals...and I've been told that they only wave back to their fellow Harley riders!

I have NO ISSUES here in NY. Your on a Bike you get a wave, or a nod if you can't let go of the handlebars, no exceptions. You musta hit a dry spot. LOL :)

If they are patch wearing MC club members they may not even acknowledge you even exist, (not all), just their way.
Hospitality is a Southern thang. So don't think about to much, it's just Yankees, the ones who waved are the good ones.

I'd say here in Maryland about 95% of the riders wave.

Like donguer said, nod if you can't let go of the bars.

No problems here in Ohio (God's Country). The only ones who don't wave are the scooters (old people and soccer moms) and smaller crotch rockets (new, young, and don't have a clue riders). All others wave---it's a State Law! LOL

Its hit and miss in our area. There are a lot of HD wannabe riders who go from their garage to a local hang out bar and back to their garage. Its an image thing. I'd be surprised if the put 200 miles on their odometers a year. Some wave...some don't.

I call it the H/D attitude, mostly the ones without lids. Some that do wave act like they are forced to and even look away while waving ::)
