Mustang tank bib

Looking to stop tank getting scratched and paint rubbing from mustang seat on my 06 Nomad. For those of you that have the Mustang tank bib, how do you like it and does it solve this problem? I am currently using soft shelf liner under the nose of the seat but not a permanent solution.

I like my bib I don't have problems with fuel but it does help with keeping scratches off my paint
