Kawasaki Pillow Top Gel Seats

I'm looking for feedback from anyone who has the Kawasaki Pillow Top Gel Seat. Do you like it and does it sit you at the same height as the stock seat?

I bought them and found them to be no better than the stock seats.
Same height as the stock seat if I remember correctly.
My advice is to bite the bullet and go straight to a Daylong seat and forget all the other stuff, air pads, gel pads etc.

If it's as comfortable as the stock seat I'm fine with that, as I liked the seat as it was. In an attempt to get a lower seat height I sent the stock seat in to Mean City to modify and it's been a complete fail. It's lower, but complete torture after sixty miles or so. Never had a problem with the stock seat. It was the most comfortable stock seat I have ever had and I should have left it alone.

Then don't get a Daylong. It will sit you higher than a stock seat.

I just installed an "Ultimate" seat and can report that I am very happy with seat. Same seat height and distance from the handlebars. I considered the RDL seat but I don't like the wings. I didn't look at the "Mustang" seat as I tried one on the 1500 Nomad and didn't care for it. I also tried the Kawasaki "gel" seat and found it to be no better than the stock seat.

I tried an Ultimate seat and it was much higher than stock. So much so I was on tip toes. With stock seat I was just shy of flat footing.

I have it and I hate it, I had to go and buy an Airhawk pad for my seat yesterday. Don’t waste the money, it’s no better than the stock seat. One of the button on the seat is causing my butt to ache.

How is that? What makes it the same? It's gel not foam so please be more specific in your evaluation. "opinions are like ass holes everyone has one" but your bottom may not be like mine in a comfort level. I have a Really nice looking bottom, so I'm told. It must be the jeans. But the facts are it's true, but comfort is another story. See where i'm going here.

You find the seat that bad Terry that you have to get another?
I wouldn't have spent the money to get mine modded. I don't find it uncomfortable, just not low enough to be bothered with the time and money I spent..............Mike
