LOL thats why its called Great Britian I see this one is from Liverpool, Sue's was from London, i wonder how many more there are??

Its intersting that they have our national lottery web site for the results even though they dont do a National Email Lottery :-/

I wonder how many people fall for it?

That is my guess. I suspect that when someone answers they string them along to get more damaging info. birthday, ss#, bank account etc. Good thing Ian let me know this was bogus. ;)

I got something similar from Nigeria about 7 years ago. The whole thing is to get you hooked and hopefully divulge any information that tips them off that you already have some money. They get you to travel to that country and they kidnap you until you can get someone to ransom you. There are many different versions. What is so stupid is that a real situation would never rely on email. When I got something from the IRS I knew it was hokey even though the email address it appeared to come from seemed genuine. I knew though that the IRS would never attempt to contact me via email.
