I'm very new to this

Hello I just bought my 2013 vaquero 1700. The old owner of the bike has some freedom performance racing pipes for it which I may trade him for. He told me they were only on the bike for a bit and was some slight back firing/popping. He then said I'd need a fuel/air controller or something along those lines. I'm far from a mechanic, but would like to see what I need to have these pipes function correctly. Thanks for any help!

The best option is to send your ECU to Ivan and have him flash it.

Congratulations on the new bike, save the Pipes money and look into the flashing of your ECU. Search Ivanizing, Ivans ECU, ect on this site for Your research. These people are very sold on the procedure. And they have sold me, I plan on getting it done, too. Many pages devoted to improving the POP POP and other issues.
Just don't ask what's the best oil.
