I ordered the run turn brakelight controller from J.P. Cycles. Installed it today. It was really easy to install and I"m very happy with it. I wasn't sure how I would like the deep dish bezels, but after putting them on they really look sharp. Total install time was about 45 min. It was a real simple plug and play installation. I will try to post some pics, but I haven't got that figured out yet. :-/

That Run/Turn/Brake controller really lights up the back, I got mine set to where it flashes 4 times before staying on constant, the cagers don't pull up so close to your rear that way.

are you talking about the brake light modulators? they flash 4 times then steady for 3-4 sec then alternating? i installed on a while back, and they do work well. :-)

The Run-turn-brake kit came this afternoon, read directions, then reread because I thought I must have missed something---this install is a no brainer, really easy. Remove seat and unplug one connections and plug back in two with the module, load eq looks like it could be an option, I put it in but I kinda like the faster blinder speed. Love the look of the new tail lights, IMO very cool.

Can anyone tell me if the load eq is necessary or can you leave it out without causing damage to anything?

I'm still trying to find out if anyone knows why this won't work on a 1500 (red lenses notwithstanding). Anyone know? Thanks!

I've had very good luck asking questions to Kuryakyn's tech support, drop them a quick email and ask them. They have always responded within 24 hours for me, but now is the busy season so it might take a little longer.

I feel stupid for not trying that sooner... they said the harnesses are different. Guess I'll have to do the ole splice version.
