Greetings,
Not without a BAK. Filter is one the left side and the opening to the TB is on the right. A BAK, like Chuckster's, will mount on the right side, then the cross over can be removed.
Is that what you are asking?

I think you are talking about the crankcase vent tube ?
People don't block off that tube when installing aftermarket exhausts.
Maybe you mean the 02 sensor ?

If you are talking about the crankcase vent tube it needs to vent to atmosphere otherwise pressure will build up inside the crankcase and damage oil seals.

the crankcase vent is on the left side at the bottom by the air filter not on the right side by the throttle body?

You are correct. I was thinking you had an BAK installed in which case that tube goes into the back of the BAK.

I am still not sure what you mean by "small black tube that's on the right throttle body side that people plug off when they install aftermarket exhaust".

I wouldn't block it off. When we install a BAK that vent hose is still supposed to be run from the engine to the air cleaner. There is no advantage to blocking it off.

No, you need to have your ECU reflashed by Ivan to stop the popping on decel.

Correct-plug the air injection hose (not the crank case vent.) That may not stop all of your backfiring on decel though, even with an aftermarket intake. You can relocate the air temp sensor but I never noticed a difference when I did that. Get your ECU Ivanized. His reflash shuts off the air injection system electronically, and fixes many other issues. It will be the one mod that has the biggest impact for the dollar.

Exactly right. I thought he was talking about the crankcase vent hose. I didn't see much change when I plugged the air injection hose on my 1700 either......my 1500 was a different story tho.
