Chris Stapleton

Any of you music fans on here heard of him. Album of the year on the CMA's this year along with a couple more awards this year from them. He grew up next county over from me and obviously hasn't forgotten where home is and is doing a free concert on the 24th at his old High school. Guess who scored a couple of free tickets , this old boy ,that's who

It's a small venue and it was filled in about an hour. Ram trucks is sponsoring it too and for once I was in the right place at the right time and heard about it before they were gone. Yay me, lol.

Doesn't take much to make me feel like a winner

I just introduced myself to Chris's music last year. He is one of my favorite musicians now. I now have a ton of his songs on my ipod. Nobody to blame is by far my most favorite.

I'm a closet performer and play a few of his songs now. Mostly camp fires and back yard BBQ's .

I'm very envious of you being able to see him in person. I hope he makes his way up here. Front row center is where I'll be !!

Have a great time !!!!

Nice of him to remember the folks back home. Glad you picked up some tickets.

I thought I would link you all to a poor quality video I shot last night at the Chris Sapleton Concert, the sound is good and the video was shot from a distance.

I just wanted to add that not only did I he put on a free show , he also bought
$57,000 dollars worth of instruments fit his former high school and bought all the materials for construction of an outdoor stage for future entertainment purposes at the school , the students in the Carpentry and Electrical programs will be providing the labor. A good deed from some one who has not forgotten here he came from.

Give a listen and enjoy. I think one of you said this is your favorite songs.
