Clearview Shield

Has anyone gone with the vented clearview? Does it really help. I'm want to go with the 23inch with the curve and extra 2 inch width. Since I live in hell aka Florida I would like the extra air from the vent as long as it doesn't defeat the buffeting reduction with the taller shield.

I posted a comment about the Clearview in another thread.

I had one on my Triumph Rocket III with the vent and to me it was well worth the extra cost; I believe about $35 as I recall. I too will be installing a Clearview in the gray tint with the same specs as you are.

Installed a Clearview shield with vent a few weeks ago and its great.
The vent is worth the extra money.
Wind buffetting is gone.

Cheers

Allow a bit of lead time. I don't know if it was because of the Rocket (not as many out there) but it was several weeks from the date I ordered to when I received it.

It took about 3 weeks for mine to arrive in Canada.
I was told the wait time is based on when they do the next production run for manufacturing the windshield.

I ordered one, and the quality was impeccable. Nothing but good to say about Clearview.

I've been using the tinted clearview for the past couple years now and love it. Thanks for posting the sale ! I've wanted the vented windshield for next season.

Just a note : I use Mcquires scratch x on my windshield to take out minor scratches and it helps keep the bugs from sticking too !!

My stock screen like crystallized with a ton of tiny cracks all through it. When sun hits it I cant see anything. Anything I can put on the Clearview to protect it from UV rays destroying it like my stock?? Thx

I just placed my order using the Labor Day discount. After some additional measuring I went with the 21inch with vent and the extra 2 inch width. Once I receive it and install it I will give a review

I am missing something. I went to the Clearview site when I first saw the post about a Labor Day Discount and there was nothing. I just checked again and the shield I want is $262. WTF?
