Cosmetic mods...

Anybody powdercoat their wheels black (or whatever color matches your Nomad)? Wondering how that'd look. I've seen a couple of HD Springers that look GREAT, some with chrome spokes, some with powdercoated spokes. Wondering how the dish on the Nad would look???

Just throwin' things out there...

Daryl

Never thought about it before. Why don't you post pix after you get yours done?

IDaho,

LOL... yeah, I think I'd like to see how it looks first before I spend the bux... Not even certain it'd look that good on dish wheels. ???

Looks good on spoked wheels though, IMO.

I think it could look nice depending on what else you do to the bike. I asked, in a different thread, if anyone had chromed the nomad wheels and one person said they had then polished. They sent pic's but I haven't been able to view yet. I definitley think the noamd wheels need something.

I agree they need something, but not sure I would chrome them. As for powdercoat them, hadn't thought of that, might look good.

I'm still saving money for the lights and such, can't image what powdercoating would cost.

I know what you mean scion0 about saving your money for the toys. I save mine during the year so I can order everything to add on in the winter while the bike is up on the lift.

I think it may look good!
I have been thinking of custom Nomads; I need to buy 2 or 3 more. ( convince the bride on that!)
No bags, spoke wheels, V&H or Cobra pipes, Keep the windshield, solo seat, Power commander, Port the heads, and add a set of hi-po cams, some more chrome...

Where is the friggin lotto when I need it!!!!????!!!???
